After graduating from the University of Santa Cruz in 2000, Jake traveled, and taught English in
Japan before making the ambitious commitment to become a doctor. He was inspired when working
at Planned Parenthood, where he became dedicated to the medical profession. Jake attended the
pre-med program at Mills College in Oakland for two years, finishing in 2006.
He is now a member of the class of 2011t at The University of Vermont College of Medicine.
